Give the traditional samosas a Chinese twist!
Ingredients:
- Boodles Instant noodles
- Wanton sheets
- Bell papers
- Cabbage
- Carrot
- Beans
- Soy Sauce
- Hot sauce
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- Water – to boil noodles
- Cornstarch slurry
Instruction:
At first, boil the Boodle instant noodles as per instruction. Drizzle some oil to prevent them sticking together. Take 2tbsp oil in a pan, sauté all the veggies and add the tastemaker. Add the boiled noodles and give it a good stir. Add soy sauce & hot sauce until the noodles are quoted properly. The filling for samosa is ready. Keep it aside to cool down.
To make the samosas, place the wanton sheets on a chopping board perpendicular to each other and place 1 tablespoon of filling on the portion which has been overlapped. Fold the two flaps adjacent to each other and mark 4 slits on the other two to flaps adjacent to each other using corn starch slurry. Create a crisscross pattern while folding the samosa and use corn starch slurry to secure the wrapper in place. Then, it’s time to deep fry the samosas in hot oil and place them on a kitchen towel to get rid of excess oil. Serve them hot.
